What Does It Mean to Have No Teeth?

Missing all teeth can affect much more than your smile. It can make eating difficult, change the way you speak, and affect your confidence and everyday comfort. Complete dentures are custom-made removable teeth designed to replace all missing teeth in the upper or lower jaw and restore appearance and function. Depending on your needs, this may include conventional complete dentures, BPS (Swiss) dentures, or implant-supported dentures for improved support and stability.

At Implant Square in Ecoworld, Bellandur, denture and full-mouth treatment is planned with prosthodontic expertise by Dr. Sanjog Agarwal and Dr. Vatika Agarwal — specialists in replacing missing teeth, with specialized BPS training from Ivoclar, Switzerland. Careful attention is given to fit, comfort, bite, facial appearance, and natural-looking aesthetics. For patients seeking a fixed alternative to removable dentures, All-on-4 uses four carefully positioned dental implants to support a full set of fixed teeth in the upper or lower jaw.

Benefits of No Teeth / I've Lost All My Teeth Treatment

Full Smile Restoration

A complete arch of custom-designed teeth restores lip support, facial proportions, and a confident smile.

Eat What You Love

Unlike removable dentures, All-on-4 teeth are secured to the implants and stay fixed in your mouth, providing greater stability while eating, speaking, and smiling. For patients seeking a removable option, implant-supported dentures can provide additional support or retention.

Improved Nutrition

Better chewing means a wider, healthier diet — supporting overall wellness beyond your mouth.

Strategic Implant Placement

Instead of placing one implant for every missing tooth, All-on-4 uses four carefully positioned dental implants to support a full set of fixed teeth. All-on-6 may be recommended when additional implant support is appropriate.

Individually Planned Treatment

Your available bone, implant positions, bite, and future teeth are evaluated together. Same-day fixed teeth may be possible in suitable cases — not every patient is suitable for immediate fixed teeth, and we will explain this during your treatment planning.

Renewed Quality of Life

Patients describe feeling years younger — smiling freely, dining out without worry, and engaging socially again.

How Does Full-Arch Teeth Replacement Work?

All-on-4 is a full-mouth implant treatment that replaces an entire set of missing teeth, or teeth that cannot be saved, using four dental implants. Complete dentures remain an option for patients wanting or needing a removable, non-implant solution. Here is how All-on-4 treatment is typically planned.

Your All-on-4 Treatment at Implant Square Dental

  1. 1

    Consultation & 3D Assessment

We examine your teeth, gums, bite, and jawbone and understand what you would like to achieve with your new teeth. Our in-house 3D CBCT helps us accurately assess the available bone and plan your treatment.

  2. 2

Digital Planning of Your Implants & New Teeth

Using your 3D CBCT and digital scans, we plan the position of your implants and future teeth together, considering your bone, bite, smile, and facial appearance.

  3. 3

    Implant Placement

Teeth that cannot be saved are removed as planned, and the dental implants are placed in the jawbone. If bone grafting or another additional procedure is required, this is planned according to your individual needs.

  4. 4

Temporary Fixed Teeth – When Suitable

If the implants have sufficient stability, you may receive a temporary fixed set of teeth on the same day or shortly after implant placement. Not every patient is suitable for immediate fixed teeth, and we will explain this during your treatment planning.

  5. 5

    Healing

The implants are allowed to heal and become firmly integrated with the jawbone, usually over a few months. We monitor your healing, comfort, and bite during this period.

  6. 6

    Your Final Fixed Teeth

Once healing is complete, your final set of fixed teeth is fitted and securely attached to the implants. Your new teeth are designed to look natural, feel comfortable, and help you eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

Who Is a Candidate for Full-Arch Replacement?

All-on-4 or full-mouth dental implants may be an option if you have most or all of your teeth missing, several loose, badly damaged, or infected teeth that cannot be saved, advanced gum disease with significant bone loss, or loose or uncomfortable dentures and want a fixed alternative. Complete dentures remain an option for patients wanting or needing a removable, non-implant solution.

Ideal For:

  • Patients who have most or all of their teeth missing
  • Those with several loose, badly damaged, or infected teeth that cannot be saved
  • Patients who have been advised that multiple teeth need to be removed
  • Those who wear loose or uncomfortable dentures and want a fixed alternative
  • Patients who have difficulty eating or chewing comfortably because of missing teeth

May Need Different Care First:

  • Patients with poorly controlled diabetes until blood sugar is better managed — poorly controlled diabetes can affect healing and increase the risk of implant-related complications
  • Smokers unwilling to discuss stopping smoking before surgery and during healing — smoking increases the risk of poor healing, infection, bone loss around implants, and implant failure

Before recommending All-on-4, we carefully assess your remaining teeth to determine which teeth can still be saved and whether a full-mouth implant solution is truly the right option for you. Treatment is led by Dr. Sanjog Agarwal and Dr. Vatika Agarwal, award-winning implantologists and Fellows of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI, USA), with additional implant training in Zurich and Milan.

Full-Arch Teeth Replacement Timeline

How long does All-on-4 treatment take?

The implants can usually be placed during one surgical appointment, although the duration varies depending on the complexity of treatment. If you are suitable for same-day teeth, temporary fixed teeth may be provided on the same day or shortly afterward. The implants generally require around 3–6 months to heal, after which your final fixed teeth can be completed.

  • Same-Day Fixed Teeth: Whether same-day fixed teeth are possible depends on the stability of your implants after placement, the amount and quality of your jawbone, your bite and chewing forces, your overall health, and the complexity of your treatment. Same-day fixed teeth are not suitable for everyone.
  • Bone Grafting Needs: All-on-4 can sometimes make strategic use of the bone that is still available and may reduce the need for grafting in selected cases. In other cases, bone grafting or a different implant approach may provide a better solution.
  • One Jaw or Both: The cost and timeline can vary considerably depending on whether one or both jaws are being treated.

Your implantologist will assess your individual case and recommend the safest approach for your implants to heal properly.

Full-Arch Replacement: What to Expect

The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, so you should not feel pain while the implants are being placed once the area is numb. Some swelling, soreness, or discomfort is normal for the first few days after treatment. This is usually managed with prescribed medication and gradually improves as healing progresses.

During the initial healing period, you will need to eat a soft diet and avoid putting excessive pressure on your new implants. As healing progresses, your implantologist will guide you on gradually returning to a wider range of foods. Once treatment and healing are complete, your final teeth are designed to help you chew comfortably and enjoy a much broader diet.

Full Mouth Teeth Replacement Cost in Bangalore

The cost of All-on-4 treatment can vary considerably depending on whether one or both jaws are being treated, whether teeth need to be removed, bone grafting requirements, the implant system, and the material chosen for your fixed teeth. Because full-mouth implant treatment is highly individual, an accurate cost can only be given after assessing your condition and deciding on the treatment plan.

  • One or Both Jaws: The cost can vary considerably depending on whether one or both jaws are being treated.
  • Teeth Removal & Bone Grafting: Whether teeth need to be removed and whether grafting is required can affect both the plan and the cost. All-on-4 can sometimes make strategic use of available bone and may reduce the need for grafting in selected cases.
  • Implant System & Fixed Teeth Material: The implant system and the material chosen for your fixed teeth are part of what determines the cost.

At Implant Square Dental, we offer:

  • Clear Explanation Before Treatment: At Implant Square Dental Clinic, we explain the recommended treatment, alternatives, stages, and costs clearly before your treatment.
  • All-on-4, All-on-6, or Another Solution: More implants do not always mean a better result. Our implantologists will recommend the option that offers the right balance of stability, function, and long-term care.
  • EMI & Financing: EMI options are available on eligible treatments — ask during your consultation.
